Miguel Ángel Garrido Riosalido

Miguel Ángel Garrido is a graduate in Economic and Business Sciences, and a graduate in Law and Account Auditing (not currently practising).
He has been a member of the State Higher Body of Financial Inspectors since 1982 and has served in the Ministry of Economy and Treasury’s offices in Alicante and Madrid. In 1992 he began a period of unpaid leave from the Body and founded the law firm Garrido Abogados.
He is currently the managing director of Garrido Abogados, focussing his activity on the management and expansion of the firm.
His teaching activity is a notable feature of his curriculum: he has taught at the University of Alcalá de Henares (Professor of Applied Economics), at the San Pablo-CEU University (Tax and Financial Law) and at the European University (Tax and Financial Law).
He was also a teacher at the Ministry of Economy and Treasury’s School of Public Finances, a teacher at the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a teacher on the Master’s course in Tax Consultancy at the San Pablo-CEU University Foundation. He has also prepared students taking state examinations for access to the State Higher Body of Financial Inspectors, and for entry into the Public Finances Management Body, and has published numerous works on tax matters.
